The vibrant lives of two Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads (GHBC) residents found their way to a recent New York Times feature article titled “Singing Their Way Through Retirement”. Published Sunday, Feb. 25, the article reports on the stimulation that the Encore Creativity for Older Adults chorale program is providing in the Nation’s Capital as well as other cities. Encore participants, who include GHBC residents Howard Smith and Dr. Tony Tambasco remark how singing exercises their mind, body and creative spirit and gives them a renewed sense of purpose.
