The Terrace Memory Support Program

Welcome to The Terrace!

The Terrace is a beautiful community providing residential memory support for people with a diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.

Having opened in the summer of 2008, The Terrace is a new addition to the Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads campus.  This contemporary, gorgeously designed Memory Support Program is housed in our new Health & Wellness Center.

The Security and Comfort of Home

Designed to feel just like home, the warm and supportive setting of The Terrace allows residents to feel confident, secure, and comfortable.

Here, each resident enjoys a private apartment with great natural light and a private, universally-designed bathroom.

Specially designed to promote both security and independence, residents may move safely throughout The Terrace on their own and also have easy access to our secure outdoor patio.

Delicious, nutritionally balanced meals, assistance with daily activities, and a variety of stimulating activities contribute to a full, satisfying life.

Engaging Activity Choices

Our diverse, professionally planned activity programs are designed to meet residents’ lifestyle choices, all the while enriching their physical wellness.

The Terrace affords residents all the ingredients for an engaging and full life.  Music, games, entertainment, reminiscing, companionship, and spiritual enrichment are just some of many programs available.

Rewarding, Personal Relationships

At The Terrace, we are committed to developing positive relationships with residents, family, and the community at-large.  Family and friends are always welcome!

We also recognize and seek to support your needs as a caregiver.  For your benefit, we offer in-house support groups and provide access to outside organizations and services for further support and education.
