If you’re searching for choices in retirement, we invite you to consider Goodwin House Incorporated.

Since 1967, we’ve been enhancing the lives and expanding the possibilities of aging for older adults. Goodwin House is a faith-based, mission-driven, nonprofit organization located in the Northern Virginia suburbs of Washington, D.C. We are known for providing high quality service and exceptional quality care. Our two premier continuing care retirement communities – Goodwin House Alexandria and Goodwin House Bailey’s Crossroads in Falls Church, Fairfax County, and conveniently near Arlington – offer all levels of living from residential living to assisted living, memory support and nursing care.

In 2014, Goodwin House developed a brand new program for older adults who want to continue to live independently in their homes.  This program, called Goodwin House at Home, is a comprehensive package of services that provides the coordination and security of future care, support for loved ones and protection of assets. This life care program is modeled after the life care program we offer at both our Goodwin House communities. Goodwin House is the only organization in Northern Virginia that offers this level of security and value in your home, or ours.

We’re dedicated to providing you with options designed to maintain your independence so that you can enjoy a rich and purposeful life with the peace of mind that comes from knowing care will be there for you should you need it. You can benefit from the Goodwin House promise by moving to one of our retirement communities, or by choosing to stay in your home.

The decisions you make in retirement are deeply personal and warrant careful consideration and thorough research. At Goodwin House, our goal is to help you explore those options as you seek a place that meets your needs, as well as your liking. We can also provide guidance on how you might stay in your home and what you can do today to meet the timeline you may have for a move later. A bright future starts with a thoughtful plan. Consider making Goodwin House part of yours.
