Few physicians understand the complexities of living with dementia as well as Dr. Gayatri Devi, MD, MS, FACP, FAAN. Board certified in neurology, psychiatry and behavioral neurology, Dr. Devi is the former Clinical Co-Director of the Taub Alzheimer’s Research Center at Columbia University. She has worked for more than 20 years to help individuals and their families live fully and proactively beyond a diagnosis of dementia.
The Dementia Action Alliance, a national, non-profit advocacy and education organization welcomes Dr. Devi to Northern Virginia to discuss her book, The Spectrum of Hope: An Optimistic and New Approach to Alzheimer’s Disease and Other Dementias. Dr. Devi will be followed by a panel discussion with two individuals living with dementia and a care partner.
