Valerie Burke, Chief Philanthropy Officer
As Chief Philanthropy Officer, Valerie Burke leads the overall fundraising efforts of the Foundation. She has spent her career of almost three decades in fundraising, with the last 27 years in the development office at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School, a JK-12 Episcopal day school in Alexandria, VA.
Mary Kate Roberts, Director of Individual Giving
Mary Kate Roberts joined the Goodwin House Foundation in May 2019 as Director of Individual Giving. Her extensive fundraising career includes leadership positions at The Dwight D. Eisenhower Society, the Washington Performing Arts Society and the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.
Michele Cenzer, Director of Stewardship
Michele Cenzer became the Goodwin House Foundation Director of Stewardship in July 2019, after starting her career at Goodwin House in 2017 as a software support specialist. She brings her diverse career experience to the Foundation, including speechwriting, editing, event planning and expert IT support.
The Goodwin House Foundation Board of Directors is made up of community leaders and citizens who are passionate about our work. Board members contribute more than 1,500 hours of their time on behalf of Goodwin House. In addition, 100 percent of all Foundation Directors and GH Board Trustees make financial contributions to the Foundation.
