We gratefully accept donations in many forms and work to make the process as straightforward as possible. In addition to ways listed below, gifts can also be made through payroll deduction for staff, monthly billing for residents and estate planning.

Checks should be made payable to Goodwin House Foundation. In no event should a check be made payable to an employee, agent or volunteer for credit to the Foundation. You can send checks to our address below or stop by the Foundation office. We love to meet our donors and say “thanks” in person!

If someone you know has been cared for by Goodwin House or the Goodwin House Foundation, you can celebrate them or honor their legacy with a donation in their name. The Foundation gratefully accepts these gifts and sends a notice to the persons being honored or to the families of the deceased.
The Goodwin House Foundation also gladly accepts stocks instead of cash donations. If you’ve owned the stock for a year, you can donate it as a gift to the Foundation, deduct its full market value and not pay tax on the long-term capital gains.
The Foundation accepts securities, including mutual funds, traded on a recognized stock exchange and other readily marketable securities. If you are interested in a stock or security donation, please contact the Foundation for more information.
Donors can make charitable gifts to the foundation directly from their retirement accounts. These donations are tax free and allow the donor to make a larger gift than usual (up to $100,000 per donor).
Tax laws may change. Please consult your tax advisor.
The Goodwin House Foundation offers various ways for donors to give legacy donations for the Foundation’s many programs. Learn more about our planned giving opportunities and how you can start the process today.
The Foundation reserves the right to decline any gift that does not further its mission or goals, would create an administrative burden or would cause GHF to incur excessive expenses.
