Fellowship Campaign – Fulfilling The Promise
The Fellowship Program is a confidential financial assistance program for residents whose needs are unmet by their own resources, as well as for qualifying individuals seeking to become residents of Goodwin House. Residents facing financial distress are provided economic support through confidential grants administered by selected members of Goodwin House management who are sensitive to resident needs and privacy.
The Foundation spends approximately $1 million per year to support the Fellowship Program. Currently, a Campaign is underway to increase the Fellowship Program fund. Knowing that the needs of residents will not diminish over time, this Campaign, Fulfilling The Promise, is designed to elevate the capacity of the Foundation to provide for residents of limited resources and to enable Goodwin House to fulfill its core charitable promise.
No resident has ever been asked to leave Goodwin House due to an inability to pay. Since 1967, more than $13 million has been spent on Fellowship grants.
