Life is for learning! Whether it’s on the Goodwin House “campus,” Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA), or other nearby schools and institutions, the possibilities are endless.
In a typical week, residents can choose to join a book group discussion, attend a lecture or watch a performance without leaving the building.
Across the street, NOVA offers classes on almost any imaginable subject, as well as special lectures and performances like the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra.
Residents also take advantage of classes and seminars at the Smithsonian Museums, in Old Town Alexandria, at George Mason University and throughout the metropolitan area.
