The Fight Against Cognitive Decline
StrongerMemory is a curriculum designed to stimulate the brain’s prefrontal cortex, which governs our ability to retrieve memories. Participants spend just 20 to 30 minutes a day engaged in simple reading, writing and math activities. The StrongerMemory program is currently available in a workbook of exercises. You can see three samples of how to use the program below. Download your free digital copy or order a printed copy here!
Ten years ago, Rob Liebreich and his family noticed that his mother, Wendy, started repeating herself and struggling with her ability to focus. She was showing signs of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI). Rob sought ways to treat the challenge. He was unable to find an existing program specific to MCI, so with help from colleagues and other experts, Rob and his family created their own. Today, this family-inspired innovation has evolved into the Goodwin House StrongerMemory program. Read their full story.
StrongerMemory is available for free thanks to financial support from the Goodwin House Foundation. Donate today to our Area of Greatest Need to ensure that we can continue to offer and expand this program.
